As you may have seen, it was a big week for the corporate events industry last week!
A pilot event of approximately 400 delegates was carried out at the ACC Liverpool. The delegates were required to present a negative Covid test before arriving, and they were not required to wear a mask or social distance whilst inside the venue. They were also required to take a covid test post-event too.
The pilot was organised to assess delegate’s behavioural trends whilst at an in-person event, so they can gain a better understanding of what recommendations will need to be set out by the Government for corporate events post 21st June 2021. These recommendations will be decided closer to the 21st June and will be put together after a number of organised pilot events have taken place. Please see the full list here.
